FAQ
Welcome! We are so happy that you are here. We’ve included this page in case you are unfamiliar with blogs, like many people. Please let us know what you are thinking; email me at Patty.Meadows@elsauzal.org. Also, make sure to ‘Comment’ on stories; others can read your comments.
What is a blog? Blog is short for weblog. Blogs are used by individuals as on-line journals, and by businesses and nonprofit organizations to keep people informed. The El Sauzal Amigo Blog is a place to share the latest information from the El Sauzal Orphanage. Written by Patty Meadows, (see About Author), it gives you a look at different aspects of how the Orphanage runs.
What are the options in the right sidebar?
1. ‘Recent Posts’ lists the 5 most current stories.
2. ‘Pages’ has background information about the Orphanage, blog, author and the El Sauzal Foundation, Inc.
3. The ‘Search’ feature is used to look up something or someone specific.
4. ‘Recommended Links’ connects you with websites that we like.
5. ‘Archives’ gives you links to past stories.
6. ‘Categories’ sorts the posts so you can read on a specific topic.
7. ‘Meta’ is the technical stuff. You can use it to get RSS and XFN feeds.
What is ‘Subscribe’? If you subscribe to this website, you will be notified by email when new stories are posted.
How can I leave comments? You don’t need to be registered with WordPress or subscribe to leave comments. If you want to comment on a story, simply click on ‘Comment’ at the end of the story. You will be asked to enter your name and email address. Then add your comment. Your comment and screen name will be visible for other blog readers to see.
Do I need to register with WordPress? Not at all. To add comments or subscribe, you do not need to register.
